An early 20th century German .800 silver trophy beaker of tapered cylindrical form, engraved with presentation inscription 'Davos Bob race won by C. John Mullen record time 5, 7 1903', weight 112.5g, height 10.5cm. Note: Davos is an alpine resort town in Switzerland, with a long history of winter sport. Davos held the first official toboggan race in 1883, as well as numerous other races, as toboggans evolved into bobsleighs, luges and skeletons.
