A graduated set of six Chinese blue and white export porcelain oval meat dishes, late Qianlong/early Jiaqing period, each painted with pavilions, figures and trees in a coastal landscape, each shaped rim with feathered border, copied from a standard English creamware design, lengths 26.4cm, 30.4cm, 34.5cm, 38.3cm, 43cm and 47.3cm. Note: a dish of the same pattern is illustrated by Geoffrey A. Godden in 'Oriental Export Market Porcelain...', 1979, page 155, No. 65.
