A graduated set of three Chinese blue and white export porcelain oval meat dishes, late Qianlong/early Jiaqing period, each painted with pavilions, figures and trees in a coastal landscape, each shaped rim with feathered border, copied from a standard English creamware design, lengths 26.4cm, 34.8cm (chipped) and 43cm. Note: a dish of the same pattern is illustrated by Geoffery A. Godden in 'Oriental Export Market Porcelain...', 1979, page 155, No. 65.
