A pair of Japanese Satsuma earthenware vases by Hododa, Meiji period, each of slender square tapering form, each facet painted and gilt with a standing immortal, one side with black painted three character signature and impressed Taizan mark to bases, height 30.5cm (one with chip to rim, both with chipped bases).
