Studio of Carlo Maratta - Tobias and the Angel, oil on canvas, stencils verso, 79cm x 93cm, within a gilt composition frame inscribed 'Pietro da Cortona'. Provenance: The Dukes of Devonshire, Devonshire House by 1761; 'Important Pictures by Old Masters', Christie's, 28th November 1975, Lot 8 (consigned by the Dukes of Devonshire). Exhibited: Devonshire House, London, and Chatsworth, no. 42.
