COSTUME DESIGN. - Leopold VERCH. Verch & Flothow. Charlottenburg, Berlin: [n.p.: circa 1900.] 49 leaves of photographic illustrations exhibiting the wears of Verch & Flothow, including numerous theatrical hats, swords and spears and armour. (Lacking title page and some leaves, minor soiling, tear to one leaf, stamps.) [Bound with:] Obronski, JMPEKOVEN & Cie. Berlin: [n.p.: circa 1900.] Numerous illustrations of theatrical costumes and props, including swords, daggers, hats, bows and arrows, shields and head-dresses. (Browning, paper repairs to last leaves, lacking title, some pencil annotation.) Oblong 4to (274 x 378mm.) Later red cloth (rubbing, fading). Note: Leopold Verch was an important German costume designer and distributor for theatre and film in the early 20th century.
