A group of five Babylonian clay brick fragments, all bearing cuneiform text, one section with stamped partial inscription 'Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon, provisioner of the temples Esangil and Ezida, son of Nabopolassar, King of Babylon', 13cm x 13cm, a larger example bearing faint 'Nebuchadnezzar' stamp, 19cm x 15cm (in two pieces), and a section bearing partial stamped inscription of Ur-Nammu, from Ur, Sumerian, 14cm x 14cm. Provenance: from the estate of a West Sussex collector.
