A large square fragmentary Babylonian clay brick, 7th-6th century BC, the top impressed with a rectangle of cuneiform text, 'Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon, provisioner of the temples Esangil and Ezida, son of Nabopolassar, King of Babylon', 32cm x 7.7cm (in two sections and losses to corners). Provenance: from the estate of a West Sussex collector.
