A large square Babylonian clay brick, 7th-6th century BC, the top and one side impressed with a rectangle of cuneiform text, 'Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, provisioner of the temples Esangil and Ezida, son of Nabopolassar, King of Babylon', 33cm x 33cm x 8cm. Provenance: from the estate of a West Sussex collector.
