A 19th century George III style ebonized bracket clock with eight day twin fusee movement striking hours on a bell, the brass breakarch dial with silvered strike/silent indicator to arch above a silvered chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals and outer Arabic minutes, framing a matt centre with silvered date aperture and recessed panel, inscribed 'Jessop London', all cornered with pierced and cast gilt brass foliate scroll spandrels, the case with bell top and brass carry handle above glazed front and back doors, the sides with pierced gilt brass scale fret panels, on a plinth base, height 48.5cm, with pendulum.
