A Chinese dark brown patinated bronze censer and cover, Ming dynasty, the compressed circular body cast in relief with an archaistic band and keyfret border above horizontal ribbed banding, the domed cover similarly decorated, flanked by a pair of mask and tongue scroll handles, raised on mask and scroll tripod feet, height 27.2cm.
