A Dutch Delft miniature model of a commode, 19th century, of bombé form with two workable drawers, painted in blue with figural and seascape panels within 'C' scroll frames surrounded by flowers, blue painted I.D.M. mark to base for Jacobius De Milde of the De Paauw factory, length 24cm, height 15.3cm, width 15.5cm (minor faults and repairs to one drawer), together with a similar model of a cello, length 30cm (some restoration). Provenance: from the collection of the late Professor Maurice Stacey.
