LOT 1275
An unusual Delft portrait dish, late 17th/early 18th century, of circular shape, moulded with two rows of flutes, painted in blue, yellow and green outlined in black with a central female portrait, probably representing Queen Mary, flanked by the initials 'PS' and 'MI', within a border rim of flowers and foliage, diameter 21.3cm (minor faults). Provenance: from the collection of the late Professor Maurice Stacey.
