A large Spanish pottery lebrillo (basin) from Triana, 19th century, of gently flared circular shape painted in turquoise, blue and yellow with a central dog surrounded by flowers and foliage, the rim with blue line and dash detail, diameter 48.5cm (cracked), together with two other pottery bowls. Provenance: the basin has a 'Murray Collection' label to the base. Provenance: from the collection of the late Professor Maurice Stacey.
