An Italian maiolica albarello, probably Savona, 18th century, of dumbbell shape, inscribed with a central label 'VNG.BIANCO', between floral and fruit garlands and foliate scrollwork, height 20cm (rim restored), together with a similar albarello, inscribed 'Vng.Citrinum', height 19.3cm (rim restored). Provenance: from the collection of the late Professor Maurice Stacey.
