First edition, 8vo (207 x 128mm.) 54 hand-coloured plates. (Spotting, sometimes heavy, occasional soiling, browning, pencil mark to initial blank.) Contemporary mottled calf, gilt title and repeating gilt design to spine (upper cover detached). - And twenty-two further volumes relating to botany and natural history (including Edward Step's 'Wayside and Woodland Blossoms', series 1-3, 1933-1938, 8vo) (23).
