A Doulton Lambeth stoneware oil lamp, circa 1882, decorated by Eliza Simmance, monogrammed, the tapered cylindrical body with opposing panels of birds and blossom in beaded frames against a detailed ground of stylized foliage and shells, flanked by gilt metal handles, above a wide band of vertical lappets, raised on a gilt metal base with three hoof feet, fitted with a stoneware reservoir and Hinks's Duplex fittings, incised and impressed marks to reservoir, overall height 50cm.
