A Chinese silk embroidered rectangular panel, late 19th/early 20th century, worked in coloured threads with a scene of a seated maiden accompanied by a boy climbing a tree, a seated dog and a bird in a cage, beside a cat climbing a tree with bird and butterfly flying above, to the right a pavilion with two figures within and a rat walking on a beam, all within a flower and meandering stem border against a dark blue ground, 40.5cm x 60cm, unframed (some faults).
