BINDINGS. - William COWPER. The Life and Works. London: Saunders and Otley, 1835. 8 vols., 8vo (162 x 94mm.) 8 engraved frontispieces and 8 additional engraved titles. (Occasional spotting.) Later green morocco, five raised bands to the spines, red morocco lettering pieces to the second and fourth compartments, repeating decorative gilt to the rest. Provenance: Baird of Auchmedden (bookplates to the front pastedowns). - And two further sets of bindings (including Oliver Goldsmith's 'Works', 4 vols., 1833, 8vo) (14).
