BINDINGS. - Geoffrey CHAUCER. The Complete Works. Oxford: The Clarendon Press, 1901. 8vo (180 x 115mm.) Frontispiece with tissue-guard. (Spotting to preliminaries.) Contemporary tree-calf, foliate gilt borders, five raised bands with brown morocco lettering piece to the second compartment, repeating floral gilt to the rest, marbled page ends. Provenance: Alexander Auchmiachie (gift inscription on the initial blank). - And thirty-three further leather-bound volumes (including a set of Walter Scott's works, 25 vols., 1862-1864, 8vo) (33).
