An ormolu mounted Sèvres porcelain potpourri vase and cover, circa 1780, the pale green pointillé ground body reserved to each side with gilt edged frames enclosing still lifes of gardening tools and utensils, painted in the style of André-Vincent Vielliard, flanked by ormolu swan handles with outstretched wings beneath the pierced ormolu neck, the pointillé cover with floral finial, raised on a pierced rococo foliate scroll ormolu base, height 17.5cm (minor chip to cover). Note: the mounts are in the style of Jean Claude Thomas Chambellan Duplessis.
