A William IV needlework sampler by Jane Butterfield, aged 10 years, dated 1832, the bands of letters above angels, trees, animals, a ship, plants and Adam and Eve standing beside the Tree of Life, 41cm x 28.5cm, within a period beaded gilt gesso frame.
