An early 19th century French ormolu mounted and dark brown patinated bronze mantel clock, the eight day movement with silk suspension and striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the circular white enamel dial with Roman numerals, the oval case surmounted with a figure of a classical maiden seated in a shell boat above a pair of applied masks to sides, the octagonal base applied with a pair of hippocampi and urns, on turned feet, height 32.5cm, with pendulum.
