A George III walnut longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the brass breakarch dial with silvered strike/silent indicator to arch above a silvered chapter ring framing a matt centre with silvered subsidiary seconds, date aperture and plaque, inscribed 'John Davis London', all cornered with pierced and cast foliate spandrels, the pagoda top hood with three urn finials above a glazed door and fluted columns, the arched trunk door, trunk and base with line inlaid decoration, height 248cm, with a modern pendulum and a weight (alterations and restoration).
