A Victorian mahogany longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the painted arch dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and date dials, the arch inscribed 'J.N. O'Firderer, Dale End, Birmingham', cornered with gilt foliate scrolls, the hood with moulded arch pediment above a glazed door and turned columns, the trunk door with shaped top flanked by a pair of turned columns, on a plain base, height 231cm, with pendulum, two weights and a winding key (some faults).
