[DALECHAMPS, Jacques. Histoire General des Plantes. Lyon: Heirs of Guillaume Rouille, 1615]. Vol. 1 only (of 2), first edition translated from the Latin into French, folio (380 x 229mm.) Numerous woodcut illustrations, 'Tables de L'Histoire Generale des Plants' at rear in various languages. (First few leaves torn with significant loss and with paper backing to all leaves prior to B3, lacking all leaves including title-page, prior to the leaf before A[1].) Later calf (rubbing with some loss to extremities, endpapers replaced).
