A Chinese scroll painting by Huang Shan-Shou, 19th century, finely painted with the welcoming of the Queen Mother of the West, on the terraces of the eight Taoist Immortals, two lines of black text, inscribed Hsiu-ssu (1821) summer, 15th day of sixth month, Huang Shan-Shou of Pli-Ling painted at the Ssu-Ming Woodcutter's Pavilion and two red seal marks for Hung Shan-Shou, Mist Pavilion Scholar to upper left corner, 141cm x 77cm, framed and glazed (repairs and creases to paper), the reverse with attached printed information and translation acquired from the British Museum.
