A Japanese bamboo teapot and cover, early 20th century, the swollen cylindrical body carved in low relief with two frogs emerging from within a lotus leaf, beneath an overhead swing handle, height including handle 21.3cm, together with a small group of Japanese metalwork, mostly Meiji period, including a swing handle basket, the centre cast with two fish swimming beneath a cast and pierced rim of lotus flowers, stems and leaves, diameter 17cm, an antimony monkey dish and a woven vase and dish. Provenance: from the estate of the late Nellie Lenson-Smith (1928-2017).
