An Indian bronze figure of Shiva, 19th century, modelled seated in dhyanasana, his hair arranged in a tall jatamukuta, wearing beaded necklace and other jewellery and the sacred cord draped across his shoulder, his four arms holding various attributes, on a double lotus moulded throne, height 15.5cm.
