A late 19th century French slate and rouge marble mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the white enamel two-piece dial with black Roman numerals and Brocot escapement, the drum case with scroll supports above a glazed lenticle flanked by scroll sides, on a plinth base, height 47.5cm, with mercury compensated pendulum.
