A late 19th century French ormolu and porcelain mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the circular porcelain dial with black Roman numerals with gilt framing on a bleu céleste ground, the centre painted in puce and pink with a Cupid and musical instruments, the case with urn surmount above applied foliate scrolls and fluted columns, the front and sides inset with porcelain panels, painted in puce and pink with Cupid, classical maiden, musical instruments and pendants, within bleu céleste borders, the breakfront base cast with foliate frieze, height 37.5cm, with pendulum, winding key and giltwood stand.
