A Staffordshire porcelain teapot and cover, circa 1800, probably Factory X, of oval spiral fluted form, painted with scattered pink flowers within repeated blue, pink and green circular medallion borders, pink painted pattern number '237' to base, length approx 24cm, together with another similar teapot, pattern number '227' to base and three other porcelain teapots and covers (minor faults). Note: see illustration of two teapots on page 228, plate 374 of Robin Emmerson's 'British Teapots and Tea Drinking'.
