A Staffordshire porcelain part tea service, circa 1800, probably by Factory X, of spiral fluted form, each rim with blue band filled with red flowerhead vignettes, enriched with gilt foliage and festoons, comprising teapot and cover, teapot stand, sucrier, cover and stand, slop bowl, two cream jugs, seven tea bowls, six coffee cups, seven saucers and two cake plates, some with painted blue '94.' pattern number to base (some faults). Note: a teapot of this shape is illustrated as plate 215 in David Holgate's 'New Hall and Its Imitations'.
