A 19th Century specimen wood tea caddy of sarcophagus form, the hinged lid and sides geometrically veneered with panels of pollard oak, burr yew and walnut within borders of ebony and boxwood, raised on gilt metal feet, the interior later fitted with two lidded compartments and a bowl recess, width approx 24.5cm (alterations and restoration).
