A mid-19th Century French ormolu and porcelain mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the backplate stamped 'Mottu Fres a Paris', the similarly signed enamel dial with Roman numerals, the ormolu case surmounted with a recumbent Diana the Huntress beside her greyhound, above a pair of porcelain panels painted with flowers within gilt and bleu céleste borders, on a breakfront base with white marble plinth and foliate cast feet, height approx 36cm (lacking pendulum and one foot and some faults).
