A Japanese Satsuma earthenware teapot and cover by Kozan, Meiji period, of cylindrical form with overhead handle, the sides painted and gilt with a continuous band of overlapping rectangular panels filled with figures, flowers, vapours and simulated brocade, the top and cover with flowers and simulated brocade mon raised on three gilt scroll feet, gilt signature to base, height approx 15cm.
