NOBLE, Mark. Memoirs of the Protectoral-House of Cromwell… the second edition. Birmingham: Pearson and Rollason, 1787. 2 vols., 8vo (214 x 127mm.) 2 engraved frontispieces, 5 engraved plates, 5 folding genealogies, 2 folding facsimiles. (Light browning and spotting, occasional minor soiling.) Contemporary red morocco, spines tooled in gilt with trophy motifs, covers with tooled gilt foliate borders, gilt turn-ins (extremities scuffed, leather to upper cover of vol. I with heavy scuff, some minor soiling, spines slightly darkened). Provenance: Frankland (armorial bookplate to front pastedowns). - And four other early 19th Century volumes of genealogical interest (6).
