A Japanese Satsuma earthenware two handled circular tray by Kinkozan and probably decorated by Sozan, Meiji period, the centre finely painted and gilt with three overlapping rectangular panels, one of women and children playing out of doors, the second filled with flowers beside a meandering stream, the third with a simulated brocade design, all reserved against a white ground decorated with precious vessels and objects, all beneath an everted rim and pair of moulded scroll handles, framed by an iron red, green and blue chrysanthemum head and gilt overlaid border, impressed mark of Kinkozan to base, width across handles approx 30.2cm (minor wear to rim).
