A Japanese Satsuma earthenware vase, Meiji period, the baluster body with a pair of moulded ring handles, painted and heavily gilt with opposing panels, one filled with armour, the other side with a kusudama flower ball pendant, reserved against a gilt net ground, within simulated brocade borders, height approx 9cm (restoration to rim).
