Engraved frontispiece, additional title, 1 folding plan, 1 folding map, and 43 plates (?only, of a possible 44). (Possibly lacking one plate, some spotting.) Original drab paper-covered boards, letterpress title and advertisement to the upper and lower boards (rebacked in cloth at an early date, the original spine label laid down, scuffed, some discolouration to spine, extremities bumped). Note: although the title calls for 'fifty engravings' the maximum found seems to be no more than 48 (i.e. frontispiece, title, folding plan, folding map & 44 plates).
