LOT 1115
A mid-19th Century mahogany cased mantel clock with eight day chain driven fusee movement striking on a bell, the backplate signed 'Adams 36 Lombard Street, London', the silvered circular dial with black Roman numerals and inscribed 'Adams, 84 Cannon StT, London', the case with carved foliate dial surround above leaf mouldings to scroll feet and apron, height approx 39cm, together with pendulum. Note: Thomas Adams clockmaker of Lombard Street is recorded as "Maker to H.R.H. Prince Albert".
