A late 19th Century oak cased mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a gong, the square brass dial with silvered chapter ring and black Roman numerals framing a matt centre, cornered with pierced floral gilt metal spandrels, the backplate stamped 'W & H Sch' (Winterhalder & Hofmeier), the carved case with arched surmount flanked by turned spire finials above turned columns, on a plinth base and bracket feet, height approx 41cm, together with pendulum (missing a finial).
