A late Victorian oak cased weather station by John Davis & Son, Derby, containing a central barograph above mercury thermometer, flanked by a timepiece and barometer, the timepiece with fusee movement, the signed silvered circular dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds, the silvered barograph dial inscribed 'John Davis & Son, All Saints Works, Derby and London Offices, 118 Newgate St', the rectangular case with moulded pediment above a glazed fall front and access door to rear, on a moulded rectangular pedestal base, length approx 66cm, together with pendulum and winder (one section of moulding lacking).
