A Chinese export lacquer folding fan, mid-19th Century, the guards and thirteen sticks gilt with figures within flower borders, supporting a paper panel, each side painted with dignitaries within a pavilion, the garments working in multi-coloured collage and painted ivory faces, length approx 28cm, together with a fitted lacquer case, the hinge lid interior painted with birds and flowers (minor faults).
