A Japanese silver mounted ivory kodansu and stand, Meiji period, all sides and the interior with gilt and black lacquered panels of birds, flowers and landscapes, the pair of hinged doors revealing three graduated drawers, each carved from one piece of ivory, the stand carved in low relief with figural scene panels, on bracket feet, total height approx 9.7cm.
