A GRI 1897-pattern infantry officer's sword by Flights Ltd, with straight dumbbell-section blade, etched 'H.M.W', length approx 82cm, pierced steel guard retaining traces of plating, wire-bound fishskin-covered grip, in its leather-covered scabbard (hilt defective).
