A 19th century 28-bore double-barrelled sporting gun by Joseph Manton with sighted barrels, barrel length 73.5cm, trophy engraved locks and foliate decorated hammers, full-stocked in figured walnut with chequered grip, steel furniture and ebonized wood ramrod with brass tip. A scarce Macnaughton's Edinburgh Patent No. 35 steel and brass cartridge loading tool with spring-loaded mechanism and hinged lever action, height 12cm, together with a bench-mounted cartridge finishing tool with heavy cast steel base and pull-down lever action, total height 74cm. Provenance: the property of a Hampshire private collector.
