A pair of Japanese Arita blue and white porcelain bowls, late 18th century, each of lobed petal outline, the interior painted with a three friends of winter (pine, prunus and bamboo) roundel, within a sectional panelled rim of flowers and landscapes, the exterior with karakusa scroll, underglaze blue Chenghua four character mark to bases, diameter 14.5cm.
