A late 20th Century George I style walnut chiming bracket clock by Elliott of London, limited edition No. 69 of 250, made for Garrards to commemorate the celebrated clockmaker Daniel Quare, the eight day triple fusee movement chiming on eight bells and striking on a larger bell, the brass break arch dial with silvered Westminster/Whittington/Winchester chime selection dial above small silvered slow/fast and chime/silent indicators and a silvered chapter ring with black Roman hours and Arabic minutes, framing a matt centre with applied 'Garrard' plaque, the backplate inscribed 'Elliott, London' and number '69/250', the case with caddy top fitted with a brass carrying handle incorporating the initials 'DQ', above pierced fret panels, glazed doors and side panels, on a moulded plinth and bracket feet, height approx 43cm, together with a winding key and certificate.
