A mid-Victorian black papier-mâché lady's table-top cabinet with overall painted, gilt and mother-of-pearl inlaid flowers and foliate scroll borders, the hinged lid above a pair of arch moulded doors enclosing three drawers and a pull-out writing slope, raised on a shaped plinth base, height approx 31.5cm, width approx 30cm.

A George III red painted octagonal tea caddy, the hinged lid and sides decorated in gilt and black with sprays of various regalia within borders of repeating circles, the interior fitted with a single lidded compartment, height approx 13cm, width approx 13cm (faults).

A George III satinwood tea caddy, the interior fitted with a pair of oval cut glass canisters with silver hinged lids, London 1796 by John Hutson, each lid bearing an engraved crest, the rectangular box with tulipwood crossbanded borders and an applied silver handle, height approx 14.5cm, width approx 19cm. Provenance: Christie's Godmersham Park sale, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th June 1983.

An early Victorian rosewood tea caddy of sarcophagus form, the hinged lid enclosing a central cut glass bowl flanked by a pair of removable lidded canisters, the sides with applied ring handles, on reeded bun feet, height approx 23cm, width approx 36cm.

A 19th Century red leather box of lancet arched form, decorated with overall brass studs and brown leather piping, the interior lined in patterned silk, height approx 24cm, width approx 29.5cm.

A 19th Century Gothic Revival walnut casket in the form of a medieval coffer, the lid with strapwork hinges, the sides carved with overall intricate tracery above a lozenge carved band, on shaped bracket feet, the interior later fitted with a removable jewellery compartment, height approx 18cm, width approx 32cm (minor faults).

A mid-Victorian black papier-mâché table-top cabinet, the top and hinged door inset with oval glass panels, reverse painted with landscape scenes within gilt foliate borders, the interior fitted with four drawers, on shaped feet, height approx 17.5cm, width approx 19cm (faults).

A George III tortoiseshell tea caddy of sarcophagus form with overall ivory stringing, the front with applied metal key escutcheon and plaque, the interior fitted with two lidded compartments, raised on plated copper ball feet, height approx 15cm, width approx 19cm (minor faults).

A 19th Century specimen wood tea caddy of sarcophagus form, the hinged lid and sides geometrically veneered with panels of pollard oak, burr yew and walnut within borders of ebony and boxwood, raised on gilt metal feet, the interior later fitted with two lidded compartments and a bowl recess, width approx 24.5cm (alterations and restoration).

A 19th Century fruitwood needlework box with chequer banded borders and boxwood stringing, the double-hinged top centred by an overhead handle and with an applied plaque, inscribed 'Formed from the Crab Tree under which Shakespeare took shelter on the road between Bidford and Stratford upon Avon. See Ireland's Upper Avon P.233', height approx 23cm, length approx 32cm.

A late 17th Century Indo-Portuguese hardwood, ivory and tortoiseshell inlaid table cabinet, the hinged lid and sides inset with rectangular panels, engraved with stylized plants and leaves within geometric mosaic inlaid borders, the hinged lid fitted with a mirror revealing a compartmentalized section, the two doors opening to reveal six tortoiseshell fronted drawers, raised on bun feet, height approx 33cm, width approx 41cm, depth approx 30cm (overall extensive restoration).

A 17th Century and later silkwork and rosewood banded table cabinet, the hinged lid and sides worked in coloured silks on an ivory silk ground with various figures and landscapes, the double-hinged lid enclosing a compartmentalized well above a pair of doors opening to reveal four drawers, raised on turned bun feet, height approx 31cm, width approx 30.5cm, depth approx 21cm (alterations and restoration).

A late 17th Century metal thread and silk stumpwork rectangular panel depicting a flower-charged urn flanked by flowering tendrils, snails and caterpillars, all on an ivory silk ground embellished with applied metal sequins, approx 21cm x 28cm, within an ebonized and gilt frame, the reverse inscribed 'Bought by Geo. Richmond 1875 London'.

A 17th Century petit point and silver thread rectangular panel depicting overall plants, flowers, insects, bugs and butterflies, all worked on a ground of silver thread, approx 26.5cm x 24cm, within a gilt frame.

An 18th Century silkwork rectangular panel depicting a bird and insects among various fruiting and flowering plants, worked in coloured silks on a cream silk ground, approx 9cm x 30cm, within a later mahogany frame (some faults).

A 17th Century needlework and silver thread rectangular panel depicting a lady, gentleman and their child standing within a garden, surrounded by large flowers, a dog chasing a rabbit and a butterfly, all worked in coloured threads on a silver thread embellished ground, approx 13cm x 24cm, later laid down on canvas and mounted on board.

A 17th Century raised work rectangular panel depicting overall flowering tendrils issuing curled leaves and various raised and stumpwork flowerheads, all worked in coloured silks on a cream silk ground, approx 21.5cm x 24cm, later laid down and mounted on board.

A fine 17th Century stumpwork rectangular panel depicting a group of five ladies, representing the senses, all seated within a hillocky landscape and surrounded by various animals, insects and flowers, a walled citadel in the background, the stylized sun and moon in the cloud-scattered sky, worked in coloured and silver thread in a variety of stitches and techniques, approx 26cm x 35cm, framed and glazed.

A near pair of late 17th/early 18th Century silkwork rectangular panels of a lady and her gallant, both figures standing upon a hillock, worked in coloured silks, the gallant embellished in silver thread, approx 17cm x 10cm and 16cm x 10cm, both within period walnut frames.
